Alexander S. Kochkin & Patricia
M. Van Camp – social architects,
innovators, and philanthropists – have studied the political, economic,
socio-cultural, and spiritual trends and movements in the U.S.
for over two decades. Commissioning the In Our Own Words 2000 social
science research project to gain a more intrinsic understanding
of the values and beliefs of Americans, they sought to provide
a scientifically viable instrument that would highlight the commonalities
among Americans and provide a beacon of encouragement. It is their
hope that many organizations and individuals will be encouraged
by the inspiring insights from the American public that are given
voice in this study.
